Just outside downtown Miami, among bridges, freeways, and ample foot traffic, the East Hotel provides a dose of instant serenity, incorporating the basic elements of wa-ter, earth, and fire. The muted overall palette was conceived as a “virtual hug” by de-signer Clodagh. In both public and private spaces, a carefully-curated selection of ma-terials and furnishings create a unique, biophilic experience for guests fortunate enough to stay here.
Guest corridors are paneled in laminate wood while an organic carpet with an intri-guing pattern paves the way. Recessed lighting adds to the cinematic atmosphere.
