Just outside downtown Miami, among bridges, freeways, and ample foot traffic, the East Hotel provides a dose of instant serenity, incorporating the basic elements of wa-ter, earth, and fire. The muted overall palette was conceived as a “virtual hug” by de-signer Clodagh. In both public and private spaces, a carefully-curated selection of ma-terials and furnishings create a unique, biophilic experience for guests fortunate enough to stay here.
An aluminum screen backs the backlit reception desk. Polished stone floors are ele-gantly paired with a richly-detailed leather banquette and lacquered seats.
