When Pritzker Group managing partner Anthony Pritzker called the firm HOK to design a new headquarters (HOK had also done their offices a decade ago), a bolder look was his top request. This was achieved with gloss paint and solid surfacing in pure white for brightness to offset the company’s fabulous collection of art–as well as the new corporate color, pumpkin orange.

In the reception area, fresh flowers are intended to complete a Cor-Ten steel wall sculpture by Jannis Kounellis. On the floor, traditional squares and a striated runway of gray-and-white striated Turkish marble create a stage for decidedly bold lounge chairs and a white wedge coffee table.
