With a smooth finish and glossy sheen, Brava is the perfect blend of beauty and function. Though treated to be durable, Brava boasts a subtle, two-toned quality that is characteristic of aniline-dyed leathers, as well as a slight variation in color and tone throughout each hide. Yet because Brava is not in the category of distressed leathers, the finish will not scuff easily, will not lighten when stretched, and is resistant to staining and fading. In addition, the ample average hide size makes it a natural choice for headboards, wall panels and other applications that require large cutting areas.

About
Cortina Leathers.

Cortina Leathers provides extensive running collections of the finest leathers and is also the industry-leading producer of bespoke leathers, for designers who wish to develop truly original finishes or performance characteristics for the most demanding settings. Combining the timeless artistry of our Italian tanneries with the technical capabilities of our U.S. manufacturing, designers have limitless opportunity to cultivate their creativity, and can be assured that we will work as partners in delivering beautiful products that will bring their vision to life.

Steeped in 115 years of American manufacturing tradition, Cortina (known then as Conneaut Leather) began producing quality upholstery leather in 1903. We’ve grown over the years and now work from a 55,000-square-foot, ISO-certified, state-of-the-art leather manufacturing facility still located on the shores of Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio. We begin with raw hides and control every step of the process, giving us the unique ability to produce custom leathers within days, where competitors require weeks or months.

In 1986, Cortina Leathers commenced working with select artisan Italian tanneries, designing beautifully colored and finished upholstery leathers to meet the demands of the global architecture and design community, with a special focus on the luxury hotel and residential interiors sectors. Cortina Leathers has since then built a global reputation for offering elegant leathers, at an accessible price and supported by unmatched focus on the designer's needs.

By leveraging the strengths of the best tanneries around the world, Cortina's collection now features over 650 leathers. This broad selection, combined with our unparalleled custom capability and our proprietary performance leathers (powered by Crypton™), makes Cortina Leathers the go-to source for the most demanding leather specifiers and purchasing groups.
