The results are produced in a way that combines traditional handcraftsmanship with the latest technology. All drapery designs are woven in a width of 300 centimeters, another unique aspect of 4Spaces, which redefines how a space can be elegantly and practically dressed. Some creations, for example, are woven on ultramodern looms and subsequently finished in traditional hot fabric baths, just as was done 100 years ago. This unique process allows the natural feel of fabric to be brought to its true identity and life. The exclusive creations are characterized by yarns the likes of fine cashmere, silk, linen and Egyptian cotton, ideal for installations both within the home and in public spaces. The development of a high-performance cork-based collection was followed by the award-winning, flame-proof knit collection, which merges fashion with interior design. Embroideries produced in the Appenzell of Switzerland celebrate a 100-year-old tradition. 4Spaces’ latest developments, iridescent yarns, are another poetic interpretation for wallcoverings in residential and public interiors. Collaborations with artists such as Memphis founders Nathalie du Pasquier and George Sowden, or Paris-based Justin Morin, manifest the philosophy of 4Spaces to engage and make the design community interact with creativity.
